The dark side of the moon
Escape Rooms
Popis
The moon is the closest celestial body to Earth. For many years, we could only observe one side, as the dark side of the moon is forever facing away from the earth. In 1960, the USSR released photographs captured using the Luna 3 space probe. In 1969, US astronauts landed on the moon for the first time. When the Cold War settled, all of the lunar missions seemed like just a symbol of the power struggle between the USSR and the USA.
However, declassified documents from the Cold War reveal that both the Soviet and US governments kept a "dark" secret on their missions to the moon. The images from the dark side have revealed human activity - a secret Nazi base. Wreckages from Nazi V rockets have been observed on site. Since then, various Lunar telescopes have monitored the site and shown no activity. Until now - a cipher message was received at an abandoned underground radio station in Berlin. It shows only one word - "bereit", which means "ready". The source of the message is from that Nazi moon base. An unusual radiation signature has also been detected. The scientists suspect that it may be from a Helium-3 plant.
Today, your team will start the first manned mission to the moon since the Cold War. There are no journalists, flowers, or tears. It may be a one way mission, to find the base hiding on the dark side of the moon and destroy whatever the Nazis have left there. Are you ready for your mission?
FAQ
WHAT IS AN ESCAPE ROOM?
An Escape Room is a real-life escape experience based on the Japanese online game, 'Takagism'. Players are locked inside a themed room, and need to work as a team to solve a series of puzzles, riddles and hints in order to escape within the 60 minute time limit.
WHY ESCAPE ROOMS?
We offer a fun and memorable experience to enjoy with your friends, colleagues or family. Our games are very challenging but give you a great sense of achievement and encourage you to work together as a team to solve puzzles. Our London Bridge venue is one of the longest running escape rooms in London and our newer venue at Angel offers a hi-tech experience unlike anything else you will find in the capital.
WHICH GAME SHOULD I CHOOSE?
Our two locations contain very different styles of escape games. If you're looking for a traditional locks, keys and codes room then we would suggest you book at London Bridge. Here you will find Room 33 and Pharaoh's Chamber, two of our most popular rooms that follow the classic non-linear format.
If you are looking for something a bit different and a tad more physical then why not check out the games at our venue in Angel. Project D.I.V.A and The Dark Side of the Moon both have futuristic themes and follow a linear pattern so depend on teams working together to solve a series of puzzles and tasks while facing obstacles such as lasers, slides and space Nazis
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM/MAXIMUM TEAM SIZE FOR EACH GAME ROOM?
You can book for 3-7 players for Pharaoh's Chamber, Project D.I.V.A. and The Dark Side of the Moon. Room 33 however can only take 3-6 players due to limited space at the start of the game. The optimum team size for any of our games is 4-5 players.
Although the minimum team size is stated as 3 players for all our rooms we have had many teams of 2 come to try out and enjoy our games. We do not have a set price for 2 players but should you wish to take on the challenge as a couple please book for 3 players and just arrive as the 2 of you on the day.
We can not allow any more players than the maximum numbers stated above in any one room. If you have a larger team you can book both rooms at one of our venues for the same time or book simultaneous time slots. Please email us for more information.
IS THERE AN AGE RESTRICTION?
While there is no restriction on age, the puzzles may be too demanding for those under 12, so they may not fully enjoy the game. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
