Had a great time!
We were a group of 4 work colleagues and were under the direction of Kirsty who was hilarious. For all of us it was our first escape/immersive experience and it left us buzzing. Funny, creepy, exciting. Highly recommend!
Really great fun! Weirdest and darkest Escape Room any of us had ever done, but it was greatly enjoyed by both veterans and newbies.
Interesting take on hints by having Wynne's come into the room - and I hadn't realised how much you rely on having a visible countdown!
We'll likely come back for Lady Chastity another time.
Overall, great fun work evening :D
Excellent escape room - fun, simple hook story and we loved Wynne and Roy the Toy :P A shame we required so many hints (our shame) but I think this was because we were a small group. The game itself was very well paced.
Huge pub below where the game takes place - good selection of beers but fairly standard pub grub.
My wife and I have done a lot of room escapes. This was by far the best, most fun and creative room we have ever done! The interactivity, story and commitment by our excellent host Wynn (Bill) was second to none! Go there immediately and play Poppa Plonk’s Wonky Workshop!!!
Good fun escape room with a really unique theme.
A Great Escape!! Lots of fun and very eerie!
First escape room that I’ve done. Had a great time and managed to solve it in 52 minutes.
Having done a handful of escape rooms before now, we were really looking forward to Poppa Plocks. It didn’t disappoint. The room was so much fun and although we didn’t escape (we were close!) we loved the game, Wynne was so funny and a big help. We will definitely be back to attempt Lady Chastity’s room. Can’t wait! Thank you for a brilliant time :)
Great game, nicely paced and with a good mix of puzzles. Host was fun and helpful. Highly recommended!
Awesome experience overall. Recommend
Super fun! We did it with 2, it was challenging but we made it in 53 minutes.
We enjoyed our experience very much. There were 5 of us and we got out with 2 hints and 51 seconds to spare. We have done a few rooms before and this was certainly the strangest one. We wasted a bit of time when one of the clues didn't work as it should (we had to jump up and down to get it moving !!). Wynne played her part wonderfully and gave just enough information to help us when we got stuck.
Great fun! We got into the narrative quite quickly and the hour flew by! Really fun host and quite intricate game and set design. Recommended!
Wonderfully deranged. We appreciated the plot setup and the clever twist near the end!
WHAT'S ALL THIS ABOUT THEN?
Our games are live immersive experiences. Solve clues with your friends, family, colleagues, lovers or strangers. Working together against a ticking sandtimer. WILL I ENJOY IT?
Yes, unless you don’t like fun. It is a unique experience and one that will stay with you for a long time. If you are looking for a fun group activity that’s slightly different, this is for you.
WHAT ARE YOUR ESCAPE ROOMS SIMILAR TO?
Dubbed ‘The Crystal Maze on Crystal Meth’, our dark and comedic tales are the first of their kind. Combining the immersive theatre of Punchdrunk and Secret Cinema productions, with the fun challenges of ‘Escape Room’ games. More like an ‘escapism room’. Players could liken it to shows like The Crystal Maze, The Cube, Saw series, Prison Break, Fort Boyard, The Mole, The Amazing Race, The Great Escape, and Knightmare.
WHAT IS AN ESCAPE GAME?
Wikipedia Def: An escape room is a physical adventure game in which players are locked in a room and have to use elements of the room to solve a series of puzzles and escape within a set time. If you can remember the Crystal Maze you won’t be far off.
HOW HARD IS THE GAME?
Whilst none of our games are easy to win, you do not need any special ‘skills’ to advance through the game, a very basic level of English and numbers should be enough. Common sense goes a lot further than intelligence, and those with strong teamwork and bags of enthusiasm are often the most likely to succeed. We may also throw in the odd clue if you look as though you are about to wet your pants.
WHAT IS THE RECOMMENDED NUMBER OF PLAYERS PER TEAM?
Our escape rooms are designed for around 2-6 players. 2 people is the minimum required. Around 4-5 people is an ideal amount. Your team will have the whole place to your filthy selves.
Our street games are designed for around 2-5 players with 3-4 being the optimum.
Larger groups can split into different teams and compete for the fastest time.
