Carnival of Curiosities

A really poor experience. We were told of several issues on arrival with the room, a padlock that wouldn’t open, a broken up torch etc. if things are broken or don’t work - fix them ! The lighting was so poor we had to use phone torches to make out anything. Almost every single puzzle ended in a padlock with very little ingenuity of thought. There was absolutely no narrative and seemingly no thought to make any atmosphere - there was no soundtrack ( how hard is it to even just play a few carnival/fairground style tracks ?Tthere was an air freshener and dehumidifier in the room presumably to over ride the damp. Honestly the worst escape room I’ve ever done, they should be embarrassed to be taking money for it.
