First the positive. We had a lovely hot day in Hyde Park. Ideal for this sort of thing. The clues are a good level for most ages. It's something a bit different to get the family outdoors. The negatives. I probably could have paid for the 2 person minimum and shared the phone. It's not cheap for something that has no overheads. There are similar things in London at a fraction of the price. We didn't finish but that wasn't down to the activity. It just got a bit much of a trek for the 72 year old in the group.
We played this as a group of 6 and it was great! The puzzles were just the right level of difficulty- teamwork was needed to solve most of them. You get round a fair bit of Hyde Park and in the sunny weather it was glorious. Really keen to do another of these now!
Such a fun way to spend 90 minutes. Great clues and route around the park. Keen to do another game soon!

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?
You must be over 18 years old to make a booking. Participants under the age of 18 are permitted to play but they must be accompanied by an adult over 18 years old.
IS IT SUITABLE FOR KIDS?
Absolutely, all ages can enjoy our games. The level of puzzle-solving is aimed at 13+ however younger children can still enjoy finding the physical clues. Just remember that each game involves approximately 3km of walking. Please note that if you're under 18 you must be accompanied by an adult over 18 years old.
HOW FIT DO I NEED TO BE?
The games are designed for all levels of fitness and can be completed within the time limit at a (brisk) walking pace. Details of the distance each game covers can be found on the each game page. But don't worry, you can also choose to ignore the time limit and enjoy a leisurely stroll; you will still be able to finish the game if you run out of time.
WHAT ARE THE DIFFICULTY LEVELS OF THE GAMES?
The games are designed to be completed within the time limit at a (brisk) walking pace. Puzzle difficulty is very subjective but we recommend the more brains the better! If we had to pick one, we would say the Murder of Hector Reeves is slightly more challenging than The Human Resistance. However, remember you can still finish your game even if you run out of time.
IS IT SUITABLE FOR WHEELCHAIR USERS AND BUGGIES?
All our games follow step-free routes with paved and tarmac paths available throughout.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
You'll need comfortable shoes for walking, a fully charged smartphone and a thirst for adventure!
DO WE END NEAR THE START POINT?
We wouldn't want to spoil the game but... The start and finish points for the Murder of Hector Reeves are near each other.
CAN I LEAVE MY BAG ANYWHERE?
Unfortunately there's no bag drop facility. Providing you aren't looking to set a world record time, wearing a backpack is a good alternative. One participant has even wheeled a suitcase around...
WILL MULTIPLE TEAMS FOLLOW EACH OTHER?
Generally not; teams tend to spread out after the first couple of clues as they are solved at different speeds. However, you can always start your teams at 2 minute intervals.
WILL THERE BE SOMEONE AT THE START TO MEET US?
Not unless you are a corporate group who have booked a Gamesmaster Experience. Each public game is designed to be completely self-managed via your smartphone. When you arrive at the start point, just tap the link in your confirmation email to begin your game.
HOW MUCH DATA WILL I USE?
Yes, however you will use less than 10mb per game – the same as listening to 2 or 3 MP3 music tracks!
