A really poor experience. We were told of several issues on arrival with the room, a padlock that wouldn’t open, a broken up torch etc. if things are broken or don’t work - fix them ! The lighting was so poor we had to use phone torches to make out anything. Almost every single puzzle ended in a padlock with very little ingenuity of thought. There was absolutely no narrative and seemingly no thought to make any atmosphere - there was no soundtrack ( how hard is it to even just play a few carnival/fairground style tracks ?Tthere was an air freshener and dehumidifier in the room presumably to over ride the damp. Honestly the worst escape room I’ve ever done, they should be embarrassed to be taking money for it.
Very cleverly thought out. You certainly get immersed in working out the next clue. We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience and were well impressed. The staff were very helpful.
Was not very fun, i feel some clues were so hard to complete( like calculating with the old machine) also some items we didn,t understand for what to use it( a plastic frame) .

Never got to do this because of covid, and despite my wife sending numerous emails and being directed to an answering machine when phoning, we haven’t been able to gain either a rebooking or a refund. Absolutely shocking customer service!
**DO NOT BOOK!** I was the owner of this experience which is *NOW CLOSED* - We have never given 'Now Escape' permission to take bookings on our behalf and no response yet from them to remove this listing.
Booked to go to Shipley but it’s not there. Tried to call the Nowescape office no answer emailed no reply. Shocking that they take your money and the event is not even there!!! ????
